Indian Palm Squirrel

Hello Guys,


I am back with Squirrel Series. Hope you all are doing well in your work. Last week I visited Indroda Nature Park. Which is located in Gandhinagar - Green city of Gujarat. 

Indroda Dinosaure and Fossil Park is a precious treaser spread over an are of about 400 hectares on either bank of Sabarmati river in Gandhinagar - The Capital of Gujarat.

It is Considered to the second largest hatchery of dinosaur eggs in the World. Regarded as India's Jurrasic Park, it is run by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (Geer), and is the only dinosaur museum in the country.

And Now I am Going to Show you Squirrel. You can see the Pictures below How it looks Awesome And Amazing.

About Squirrel :  The Palm Squirrel is about the size of a Large chipmunk, with a bushy tail slightly shorter than its body. The back is grizzled, grey-brown color with three conspicuous white stripes which run from head to tail. The two outer stripes run from the forelegs to the hind legs only. It has a creamy-white belly and a tail covered with interspersed, long, black and White  hair. The ears are small and triangular. Juvenile squirrels have significantly lighter coloration, which gets progressively darker as they age. Albinism is rare, but exists in this spacies.

Food & Behaviour

Diet And Behavior : These squirrels eat mainly nuts and fruits. They are fairly vocal, with a cry that sounds lik "chip chip chip" when danger is present. They are opportunists in urban areas, and can be easily domesticated and trained to accept food from humans. Naturally active, their activity reaches level of frenzy during the mating season.





Life Cycle 


Life Cycle : The gestation period is 34 days; breeding takes place in grass nests during the autumn. Litters of two or three are common, and average 2.75. The young are weaned after about 10 weeks and are sexually mature and 9 months, Adult wait is 200 g. Little is known about their longevity, but one specimen lived 5.5 years in captivity.

Peacock - National Bird Of India


Hello Guys,

  • Eating habits - Omnivorous
  • Average Weight - Male - 5 Kg, Female - 3.5 Kg
  • Average Lenght - Male - 1.95 to 2.25 m, Female - upto 0.95 m
  • Average Speed - 13 km/hr

It's summer fun-fair photographs. guys i love that kind of fun-fair because in the summer we have to go out in nights and enjoy so we can go there. Yeah i love that all rides specially tora-tora is my favorite Ride. You can also tell me which ride you do like more tel me in comment section. So guy how's it just tell me in comment section.
